iOS 12.3.1 Jailbreak: tfp0 Exploit Bug Raises Hope of a Jailbreak
An iOS developer has to find an exploit in iOS 12.3.1 paving the way for tfp0. This is important as it forms the base of any iOS jailbreak.
However, before you get too excited, the developer himself states that the bug is not reliable which means the chances of this exploit being used to create an iOS 12.3.1 jailbreak tool are vert slim.

On the bright side, it is good to see developers still looking at exploits to jailbreak iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 13. It proves that developer interest in jailbreaking iOS is still very much alive. The community might not be as active as before and things have certainly turned toxic among many developers, but at least the intent of jailbreaking a new iOS release is still very much alive.
If you are looking to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad, it must be running iOS 11 – iOS 12.1.2. The two jailbreak options include Unc0ver jailbreak and Chimera jailbreak. The latter uses Sileo as its default package manager, while the former uses Cydia as its package manager of choice.
It is not possible to jailbreak newer builds of iOS 12. If your device is already running a higher version of iOS 12, there’s not much you can do since downgrading is not possible right now if you do not have the required SHSH blobs.
