Get new MacBook Pros and iPad Pros for steep discounts with Best Buy’s one-day sale

Best Buy is living up to its name with an extensive sale on Apple products, but the offers will only last until the end of Friday. You’ll find some of the best deals available on both the latest MacBook ProsRemove non-product link and iPad ProsRemove non-product link. You’ll also find plenty of great deals on non-Apple products as well.

It’s a particularly good time to pick up the latest 256GB 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch BarRemove non-product link, which Best Buy is offering for $2,099.99, down $300 from the usual price of $2,399.99. You can also get a $300 discount on the 512GB modelRemove non-product link (although Best Buy is still selling the 1TB model for full price).

If the latest iPad Pros are more to your liking, you’ll be happy to find the entry-level 64GB 11-inch iPad Pro with Wi-FiRemove non-product link selling for just $699.99, down $100 from the usual price of $899.99. If you need a lot more space than that—and if you plan on using this device for any kind of “pro” work, you probably will—you can get the 512GB 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Wi-FiRemove non-product link for $1,199.99, down $150 from the usual price of $1,349.99.

This is just a hint of what’s on offer. There’s a massive range of both MacBooks and iPads on sale, so be sure to check out the full lists for each.

Should you upgrade? Both the MacBooks Pros and iPad Pros provide a compelling argument. If I had to choose, I’d prefer to use the latest 15-inch MacBook Pro over the 2017 model I use on a regular basis. Apple subtly redesigned the keyboard to include a membrane under the keys that both makes typing quieter and a bit “softer” than what I deal with on my outrageously clacky keyboard. That’s not to say that the redesign gave us keyboards that are anything as wonderful as the old MacBook Pro keyboards, but it’s a noticeable improvement.

As for the iPad Pros, they’re powerful machines and the overall user experience represents a substantial improvement over the previous models. The latest models support Face ID, for one, which simplifies everything from unlocking your device to making payments and entering passwords. The latest iPad Pros can also wirelessly charge the Apple Pencil 2Remove non-product link, which itself attaches to a magnetic strip along the iPad Pro’s edge. (Just keep in mind that you’ll have to buy the $129 stylus separately.)
